• 3 based on picture 
• 3 based on Short Story / Novel
• 2 Based on Myth

Assignments

• 1 play based on a short story (story needs to be approved before scripting0
• 1 play based on a news published on a Newspaper (local/foreign) prior approval needed
• 1 Play translation

Exams

• Midterm exam - one Short play based on a Poem (unseen) + One play on a given Prompt
• Final Exam = One play based on a Storyline and prompt + One play based on a Poem 
• Both Midterm and Final exam will contain short responses on Playwriting Techniques.

Final Play Submission

• One Full Play of minimum 30 minutes - maximum 45 minutes.
• This play will be a Researched play based on published accounts, non-fiction, historical account.
• The materials will be supplied by the course tutor and the materials has to be returned after the completion of writing.
