Films about Theatre

There are a lot of films that grew out of Theatre. Either there is a story of Theatre, or a piece of Theatre has been turned into a film. I will gradually increase the number of references.

1. কোমল গান্ধার - here you see the lives of a few IPTA members
2. সপ্তপদী - This Film probably has the only example of original acting of a Shakespearean Play spoken in English as part of the film's plot. 
3. ভ্রান্তিবিলাস - This film is an early adaption of Shakespeare's early play "Comedy of Errors." The play was translated into Bengali by Ishwarchandra Vidyashagar.
4. ওগো বঁধু সুন্দরী - This is a Bengali adaptation of Bernard Shaw's Play "Pygmalion." Uttam palyed the lead role of the Linguist.
5. Several other Indian films.
